General description

Sirtuin 6（Sirt6）是一种染色质相关核蛋白，属于哺乳动物Sir2基因家族。它在肌肉、大脑和心脏中以最高水平广泛表达。

Immunogen

通过 C-末端半胱氨酸残基相应的于人 Sirt6 氨基酸 19-33 的合成肽。该序列在小鼠中相同，在大鼠中相差 1 个氨基酸。

Biochem/physiol Actions

Anti-Sirt6（N-端）可识别人和小鼠的 Sirt6。通过免疫印迹检测 Sirt6 条带可被免疫肽特异性抑制。

Sirtuin 6 (Sirt6) 在细胞DNA修复和基因组稳定性的维持中起关键作用。作为NAD⁺依赖性蛋白脱乙酰酶Sirt6没有酶活性，但是具有自身ADP-核糖基转移酶活性。Sirt6的缺失导致急性退行性衰老样表型的出现。
