Biochem/physiol Actions
该抗体对细胞表面糖蛋白桑椹粘着蛋白/上皮细胞钙粘蛋白进行定位，发现其与 L-CAM、细胞 CAM 80/120 和 ARC-1 相同。该抗体可用于胚胎发育、培养细胞的细胞间相互作用以及免疫印迹或免疫组织化学试验中桑椹粘着蛋白/上皮细胞钙粘蛋白的定位研究。
选择单克隆抗桑椹粘着蛋白/上皮细胞钙粘蛋白抗小鼠细胞粘附分子桑椹粘着蛋白/上皮细胞钙粘蛋白。该抗体对细胞表面糖蛋白桑椹粘着蛋白/上皮细胞钙粘蛋白进行定位，发现其与 L-CAM、细胞 CAM 80/120 和 ARC-1 相同。既能阻断小鼠胚胎癌细胞的聚集，又能阻断植入前胚胎的致密化。该抗体破坏狗肾传代 (MDCK) 上皮细胞的融合单层细胞。在培养物生长的 MDCK 细胞的间接免疫荧光染色中，用 0.5%Triton-X 100 处理后，抗体在相邻细胞的膜上显示出强染色。

General description
桑椹胚粘着蛋白/E-钙粘蛋白（大鼠IgG1同种型）抗体来自于大鼠骨髓瘤细胞和Lou大鼠免疫脾细胞相互融合而产生的DECMA-1杂交瘤细胞。桑椹胚粘着蛋白(Uvomorulin)最先在胚胎性癌细胞中鉴定，与E-钙粘蛋白、肝细胞粘附分子(L-CAM)、Cell CAM 80/120和细胞骨架活性调节蛋白(ARC-1)属于同种物质，但分别在不同系统中鉴定。桑椹胚粘着蛋白/E-钙粘蛋白已表征为120 kDa的细胞表面糖蛋白，其中84kDa可在Ca2+的存在下通过胰蛋白酶消化释放。
