General description
YPD肉汤是一种营养通用的液体生长培养基，常用来维持和繁殖毕赤酵母、酿酒酵母和其他酵母。它是一种用于分子克隆、蛋白质表达或富集的培养基。动物组织的消化提供氮营养。酵母提取物提供氮营养物质以及维生素B复合物。葡萄糖为酿酒酵母的生长提供碳水化合物和能量来源。
Application
YPD肉汤推荐用于酿酒酵母菌的生长，以实现分子生物学目的。这种培养基支持大多数异养微生物的生长，但由于其组成简单，一直被用作酵母常规培养的基础培养基。酵母遗传学的一般方法采用酵母提取物蛋白胨-葡萄糖(YPD)培养基培养酿酒酵母及其他酵母。
Preparation Note
