原理

蛋白质将碱性Cu(II)还原为Cu(I)具有浓度依赖性。二辛可宁酸是一种应用于Cu(I)的高度特异性显色试剂，可以形成在562 nm处具有最高吸光度的紫色复合物。吸光度与蛋白浓度成正比。这是用于蛋白测定的Folin-Ciocalteu试剂的替代方法。
