Nonprofit Partnerships

Through strategically chosen partnerships, we leverage our expertise, culture, and passion to give back to our communities in ways that align with our overall business. To strengthen impact and drive results, we invest in nonprofit organizations through partnerships in two primary areas:

  • Science Education: Inspiring curiosity in the next generation of scientists through investments in science centers and museums, teacher preparation and advocacy, and direct-to-student programs.
  • Global Access for Science: Accelerating access for the global scientific community through access to instruments and equipment for underserved populations, global knowledge sharing, enhanced skills and training, and innovation through entrepreneurship.

Through multi-dimensional "Signature Partnerships," we make long-term commitments that allow for broader impact, while our "Localized Partnerships" create greater impact in specific communities around the world. We also support several relevant associations and memberships, as well as disaster relief efforts, in times of need or crisis.

BioSTL

BioSTL advances St. Louis, MO’s economic vitality by cultivating a thriving bioscience and innovation ecosystem. Our investment supports the Inclusive Entrepreneurship Development Program, which provides ongoing coaching, mentorship, and capital funding access to underrepresented community founders.

Chemistry on the Go

Chemistry on the Go is a program of Tamkang University that engages students in rural and low-resourced areas of Taiwan through hands-on science experiments. Our partnership has helped equip two mobile labs to increase capacity, broadening their reach to underserved schools, and supported the development of new chemistry lessons.

Discovery World

Discovery World provides fun and educational experiences through interactive exhibits and educational programs for families and students in Milwaukee, the region, and the state of Wisconsin. Our investment has enabled the expansion of its “Virtual Explorer” exhibit that allows visitors to explore science using virtual reality (VR) equipment.

EMBL

European Molecular Biology Laboratory (EMBL)

The EMBL was set up in order to promote molecular biology across Europe and to create a center of excellence for Europe’s leading molecular biologists. Our investment supports the continued development and support of virtual teacher training courses in life sciences.

GirlStart Girls at Austin STEM Conference

GirlStart

Girlstart is a U.S.-based nonprofit organization that aims to increase girls’ interest and engagement in STEM through innovative, nationally-recognized information STEM education programs. Since 2017, we have supported Girlstart’s national expansion of year-round STEM education for high-need girls, including Girlstart After School, Girlstart Summer Camp and Community STEM education programs.

KIPP: St. Louis

Together with families and communities, KIPP: St. Louis creates joyful, academically excellent schools that prepare students with the skills and confidence to pursue the paths they choose—college, career, and beyond—so they can lead fulfilling lives and build a more just world. Our investment supports the KIPP: St. Louis middle school science program through infrastructure, faculty, curriculum, volunteer engagement, and material support.

Seeing Labs is a U.S.-based nonprofit organization that aims to empower every scientist to change the world. Through our partnership, Seeding Labs continues to strengthen 45 global STEM hubs in developing countries and promotes global knowledge sharing through the TeleScience program.

Technorama Kids

Technorama

One of the largest science centers in Europe, located in Winterthur, Switzerland, Technorama has pioneered hands-on, self-directed learning. Through our partnership, we have supported the expansion and operation of its Chemistry Labs, reaching approximately 22,000 visitors annually, as well as the development and implementation of new interactive science lessons.
