General description
PiBMA can be prepared by free radical polymerization.
Application
Poly(isobutyl methacrylate) (PiBMA) was used as a solvent in thin layer chromatography. Glycidyl methacrylate grafted poly(isobutyl methacrylate) (PiBMA) microbeads can be used as super adsorbent beads for adsorption of heavy metal ions such as uranyl ions from aqueous solutions.
