General description

Tetraamminepalladium (II) chloride monohydrate is used as a precursor to synthesize palladium nanoparticles and Pd (II) complexes.[1] [2]

Application

Tetraamminepalladium(II) chloride monohydrate can be used as a:
  • Precursor for the synthesis of Pd nanoparticles on carbon supports, which is an efficient catalyst for the selective reduction of nitrite to nitrogen.[1]
  • Starting material for the synthesis of a Pd (II) complex which can be immobilized on different substrates to create catalysts with high catalytic activity.[2]
