2-Biphenylyl isocyanate is an aryl isocyanate. It has been synthesized from 2-aminobiphenyl and phosgene. The density, viscosity, refractive index and dielectric constant of benzene solution of 2-biphenylyl isocyanate have been measured.

Application

2-Biphenylyl isocyanate may be used in the synthesis of 2-bromophenanthridone.
