Bis(ethylcyclopentadienyl)cobalt(II) is a volatile organometallic compound, ideal for chemical vapor deposition (CVD) and atomic layer deposition (ALD) processes. It is stable at moderate temperatures, enabling controlled decomposition during deposition processes. It decomposes at relatively low temperatures, allowing for energy-efficient deposition processes and compatibility with substrates sensitive to high temperatures.

Application

(Co(EtCp)₂) can be used as a precursor:
  • For Cobalt thin films via atomic layer deposition (ALD) and in which are utilized in microelectronics.
  • Synthesizing cobalt-based nanoparticles for electronic and Catalytic Applications.
