Nafion solution was used as an electrolyte in studying the catalytic activity of PtIr electrocatalysts.The suspension was also used in the preparation of Aldose dehydrogenase (ALDH) bioanode. It was used in another study as a component of electrolyte in investigation of mechanico-electrochemical failure modes of the Fe interconnects. 3
