General description
1-Fluorodecane is a 1-fluoroalkane. It undergoes substitution reaction with LiCu(CH3)2, LiCu2(CH3)3, Li2Cu(CH3)3, LiCu(CH3)3, Li2Cu(CH3)3, Li2Cu3(CH3)5 and CH3Li to afford n-undecane (in different yields). 1-Fluorodecane is identified as one of the bio-active compound in the ethanol extract of the stem-bark of Albizia chevalieri and Bridelia ferruginea by GS-MS analysis.
