General description
Poly(tetrahydrofurfuryl methacrylate) is biocompatible in nature. The structure of the polymer remains rigid even after absorbing water up to 75%. Large diffusion of water results in lowering of glass transition temperature.
Application
Poly(tetrahydrofurfuryl methacrylate) may find potential uses in medical implants.
