How are the carbon nanotubes, Product 652512, produced?
Short carbon nanotubes are produced by catalytic CVD and mechanical cutting. They are purified in liquid oxidizer.
Are these nanotubes, Product 652512, open or close-ended?
According to the manufacturer, most of the ends are open.
Do you offer a respirator that blocks out nanosized material?
The respirator cartridges we currently sell for protecting against dust and particulates are the MSA air-purifying Super Cartridges GME/P100 (Product No. Z401609 or Z401722). However, per the manufacturer, these cartridges only block particle sizes up to 0.3 μm. At this time, we do not sell a respirator that will block nanosized particles, so it is best to work in a well-ventilated fume hood.
