General description
Magnesium borohydride (Mg(BH4)2) is a hydrogen storage material with a high gravimetric wt% of ~14.8 and a volumetric hydrogen density of 112 g/L. It has a relatively low hydrogen-release temperature and reversibility. Mg(BH4)2 can be used as an electrolytic material for rechargeable magnesium batteries. Its unsolvated form can be derived by solid state exchange reaction between MgCl2 and MBH4.
We are committed to bringing you Greener Alternative Products, which adhere to one or more of The 12 Principles of Greener Chemistry. This product has been enhanced for energy efficiency. Find details here.
