General description

Poly(L-lactide); PLLA; is a semi-crystalline biodegradable polymer used in drug delivery; the acetylene functionality is commonly utilized in copper mediated ligation. PLLA is soluble in toluene; THF; CHCl3; and CH2Cl2; insoluble in methanol; hexane and ether.
