Application
Nafion™ is a perfluorinated ion-exchange membrane which has a wide variety of commercial uses. The acidic (hydrogen ion) form and derivatives are solid, superacid catalysts useful in a wide variety of synthetic applications.
Nafion™ membrane may be used in the fabrication of electrodes by dry plasma. As a proton exchange membrane Nafion™ has been the focus of considerable efforts to develop improved fuel cells.

Darkening/browning is common for pieces stored in a general room environment for an extended period of time (several months), due to organics pick-up. Verify product is kept sealed during storage.
