General description

Rethink your bioinks with TissueFab®
About the material:
These TissueFab(R) bioink mixing kit, complete pack includes:
* 1 Cell mixer dispenser
* 1 mL syring
* 1 3mL syringe
* 1 connector and tubing
* 1 mixing head
Additional materials you will need:
*TissueFab(R) xeno-free bioink
*Cell suspension in culture medium
*Your bioprinter cartridge
*TissueFab(R) cell mixer dispenser
Combining cells with a bioink is a crucial stage in 3D bioprinting. However, the varying viscosities of the cell suspension and bioink can result in the formation of numerous air bubbles and non-uniform mixing when using traditional manual mixing methods. This can lead to the creation of unstable printed structures, making post-printing cell observation challenging and potentially impacting cell viability adversely. The TissueFab(R) Bioink Mixer and Mixing Component Kits enable you to uniformally mix your bioink and cells.
This complete pack for the bioink mixing kit is suitable for preparing TissueFab(R) xeno-free bioinks, allowing for a 3:1 mixing ratio using the 3mL syringe or a 10:1 mixing ratio using the 1mL syringe. To prepare the bioprinter cartridge, the TissueFab(R) xeno-free bioink and cell suspension are placed in the cell mixer and dispensed through the connector and mixing head to create a uniform bioink solution. After waiting 10-20 minutes for the mixture to stabilize, the cartridge is ready for printing. No UV, temperature/pH curing, or chemical crosslinking is required. Additionally, the addition of cell culture medium can further stabilize and support cell growth.
The syringe, connector, and mixing head are disposable for one-time use to ensure consistent and reliable results. Sterilized replacement mixing kit components are available for purchase.
More information and a step by step protocol can be found under the "More Documents" section of this page.
