Our battery-grade Prussian White compound, sodium manganese hexacyanoferrate (Na2Mn0.9Fe0.1[Fe(CN)6]), is a high-performance, fully sodiated cathode active material specifically engineered for sodium-ion batteries. Supplied as a powder, it offers a controlled particle size of 1–2 μm (D50) and a surface area of 7–10 m²/g, ensuring optimal performance and reproducibility for superior battery applications.

Application

Developed for advanced sodium-ion battery applications, our Prussian White material utilizes a unique Prussian-Blue-analog structure in which manganese is bound to the nitrogen within the cyanide framework. This structural modification elevates the nominal operating voltage to 3.3 V, thereby boosting energy density compared to the iron-only analogue operating at 3.0 V. Additionally, 10% iron-doping at the manganese site has been implemented to enhance cyclability, delivering a first cycle discharge capacity of 120 mAh/g at 1C (from 4.0 to 2.6 V) and achieving first cycle efficiency above 85% with no detectable capacity fade over the first 100 cycles.
