General description
Provides 4 L/h of high quality distilled water that complies with the European Pharmacopoeia for purified water and ASTM Type 4.
Silica sheathed heating elements with glass boiler and condenser for cool, high quality distillate. Capable of producing pyrogen-free water with conductivity of 1.0 to 2.0 mS/cm (0.5 to 1.0 MWcm).
Supplied complete with a level control device that turns off heater when collecting reservoir is full and built-in PTFE drain stopcock and acid funnel for easy cleaning without dismantling the glassware.
Still has two built-in thermostats to protect against overheating in the event of feed water failure or loss of water from the boiler. It bears the CE mark to denote that it complies with international electrical safety standards and European harmonised standards for ratio frequency interference (IEC1010-1/EN61010-1,EN55014 and EN50082-1).
May be wall or bench mounted.
Requires 220 V or 240 V AC, 50/60Hz, 3kW single phase power supply and water supply at minimum 3 psi, 1L/min. The equipment is supplied with 1.7 m of flexible triple core circular cable to CMA 3183 TQ specification.
The electrical installation should only be carried out by a qualified electrician.
