Application

DSPE-PEG(5000) maleimide is suitable for the preparation of cationic liposomes for loading siRNA.. It has also been conjugated with Asn-Gly-Arg to prepare NLC (nanostructured lipid carrier).

Maleimide are useful in biomolecular conjugation. DSPE-PEG(5000) maleimide is used to prepare conjugated polymer nanoparticles.
