General description

The ISOSLIDE H&E Control Slides - with reference tissue for the overview staining in histology, are used to verify standard hematoxylin and eosin staining patterns to characterize tissue structure in histological applications. These slides enable the clear detection of nuclei, epithelia, muscle and connective tissue elements. This product belongs to the family of IVD ISOSLIDE control slides for histology. The box consists of 25 paraffin-embedded tissue specimens on glass slides, including one control slide already stained with the appropriate method and 24 unstained preparations. All tissue specimens derive from the same area of animal tissue and each box contains one batch. Control slides are essential in the support of formal quality assurance programs to monitor staining performance in pathology laboratories. The ISOSLIDE control slides are not quality-controlled for their application with molecular pathology methods and IHC. This product is registered as IVD and CE marked. For more details, please see instructions for use (IFU). The IFU can be downloaded from this webpage.
