General description

G-protein-activating GTP analog that is more resistant to hydrolysis than GTP. Has a direct stimulatory effect on Ins(1,4,5)P3 formation in membranes.
G-protein-activating GTP analog, which is more resistant to hydrolysis than GTP. Induces exocytosis in isolated mouse pancreatic acinar cells. Also reported to stimulate insulin release from pancreatic β-cells.
