General description
Anti-Giα-3- and Goα-Subunits, C-Terminal (345-354), rabbit polyclonal, recognizes Giα-3- & Goα-subunits. Does not cross-react with other subunits. Validated for use in Western blotting.
Rabbit polyclonal antibody supplied as diluted serum. Recognizes Giα-3 and Goα subunit proteins.
Recognizes both Giα-3- and Goα-subunits. Does not cross-react with other G protein subunits.
Immunogen
a synthetic peptide (KNNLKECGLY) corresponding to amino acids 345-354 of mammalian Giα-3, conjugated to KLH

The Giα-3- and Goα-subunits share the last four amino acids (CGLY) of the immunizing peptide. Does not cross-react with other G-proteins. The specificity and cross-reactivity was confirmed with lysates from separate cultures of bacteria transfected with the genes for Gsα, Giα-1, Giα-2, Giα-3, and Goα. Variables associated with assay conditions will dictate the proper working dilution.
