General description

Recombinant, mouse hepatocyte growth factor (HGF) consisting of disulfide-linked heterodimeric α (Gln33 to Arg495) and β (Val496 to Leu728) chains expressed in murine myeloma NS0 cell line.

Biochem/physiol Actions

Cell Proliferation:

ED₅₀ = 10-30 ng/ml as measured in a cell proliferation assay using IMCD-3 mouse epithelial cells.



Functional ELISA

KD<0.2 nM as measured by binding to C-Met (HGF Receptor).

Preparation Note

Reconstitute to 10 µg/ml in sterile PBS containing at least 0.1% human or bovine serum albumin.
