Implicated in renal vasoconstriction associated with sepsis. Also plays a role in bronchioconstriction. Produced by conjugation of LTA4 with reduced glutathione. Reported to be a tight binding inhibitor of microsomal glutathione transferase-1. Has been implicated in pathophysiology of asthma.
