All NRG1 isoforms contain an EGF-like domain that is required for binding directly to the ErbB3 or ErbB4 receptor tyrosine kinases.

Biochem/physiol Actions

ED₅₀ = 0.06-0.3 ng/ml as measured in a serum-free proliferation assay using MCF-7 human breast adenocarcinoma cells.

Physical form

Lyophilized from 0.2 µm filtered acetonitrile, TFA, BSA.

Preparation Note

Following reconstitution refrigerate (4°C) for short-term storage or aliquot and freeze (-20°C) for long-term storage. Stock solutions are stable for up to 1 month at 4°C or for up to 3 months at -20°C.
