General description
Endoplasmic reticulum resident protein 57 (ERp57) is also called Protein disulfide-isomerase A3 (PDIA3), 58 kDa glucose-regulated protein (GRP58), 58 kDa microsomal protein (p58), Disulfide isomerase ER-60, and Endoplasmic reticulum resident protein 60 (ERp60). ERp57 catalyzes the rearrangement of -S-S- bonds in proteins and is associated with signal transduction, nuclear protein import and apoptosis. ERp57 is expressed in the flagellum and head regions of spermatozoa.
~57 kDa observed
Immunogen
Recombinant protein corresponding to human ERp57.
Application
Chromatin Immunoprecipitation Analysis: A representative lot from an independent laboratory lot detected ERp57 in M14 cell lysates (Chichiarelli, S., et al. (2010). Arch Biochem Biophys. 494(2):178-183; Chichiarelli, S., et al. (2007). J Cell Physiol. 210(2):343-351.).
Western Blotting Analysis: A 1:2,000 dilution from a representative lot detected ERp57 in NPA, WRO, ARO and NCI cell lysates (Prof. F. Altieri, University of Rome, La Sapienza).

The protein disulfide isomerase A3 (PDIA3) is directly or indirectly involved in various physiopathological processes and participates in cancer initiation, progression and chemosensitivity. However, little is known about its involvement in glioblastoma. To obtain specific information, we performed cellular experiments
