General description

GST-tagged recombinant protein corresponding to mouse Bassoon.
~420 kDa observed. Uncharacterized band(s) may appear in some lysates.

Specificity

This antibody is predicted to cross react with both isoforms.

Application

Immunohistochemistry Analysis: A 1:250 dilution from a representative lot detected Bassoon in rat cerebellum, human cerebral cortex, rat colon, mouse small intestine, and rat kidney tissue.

Physical form

Purified rabbit polyclonal in buffer containing 0.1 M Tris-Glycine (pH 7.4), 150 mM NaCl with 0.05% sodium azide.

Preparation Note

Stable for 1 year at 2-8°C from date of receipt.

Analysis Note

Evaluated by Western Blotting in mouse brain tissue lysate.

Western Blotting Analysis: A 1:5,000 dilution of this antibody detected Bassoon in 10 µg of mouse brain tissue lysate.
