General description

Calnexin is a Ca++ binding protein found in endoplasmic reticulum membranes that binds to specific n-linked oligosaccharides found on newly synthesized proteins. It may play role in protein folding or retention and degradation of misfolded proteins in the endoplasmic reticulum.

Detect Calnexin using this Anti-Calnexin Antibody, ER marker, clone C8.B6 validated for use in IC, IH, IP & WB.
Immunohistochemistry on frozen tissue sections: 1:500-1:2,000

Immunocytochemistry: 1:100--1:250

Immunoblotting: 1:200-1:2,000

Immunoprecipitation: 1:200-1:1,000

Optimal working dilutions must be determined by end user.
