This Anti-Fascin Antibody, clone 55K2 is validated for use in WB, IC, IH(P) for the detection of Fascin.
Research Category
Cell Structure
Western blot. Recognizes a protein of 55 kDa. Suggested working dilution is 1:100-1:1,000. Suggested blocking buffer is 3% BSA in PBS or 3% non fat milk in PBS.

Immunohistochemistry on formalin fixed, paraffin embedded tissue sections. Suggested working dilution is 1:100-1:1,000.

Immunocytochemistry on cold methanol fixed cultured cells. Suggested working dilution is 1:100-1:1,000.

Optimal working dilutions must be determined by the end user.

Biochem/physiol Actions

Fascin. The antibody is strongly positive when antigen-presenting dendritic cells are matured. MAB3582 is a sensitive marker for Reed-Sternberg Cells of Hodgkin′s Disease. The protein is an actin bundling protein specifically localized in filopodia and growth cones.
