General description

Herpes simplex virus type 2 (HSV-2) is almost exclusively sexually transmitted, causing infection in the genital or anal area (genital herpes).

Application

Tested by Immunohistochemistry.

Features and Benefits

Monoclonal antibody Anti-Herpes Simplex Virus 2, clone 3C5.2 (Cat. No. MAB8200) is tested for use in Immunohistochemistry, Immunofluorescence and Western Blot for the detection of HSV-2.

Physical form

Purified immunoglobulin in 0.02M phosphate buffer, pH 7.6, 0.25M sodium chloride containing 0.1 sodium azide.

Preparation Note

Store at +2°C to +8°C. It is recommended to store the product undiluted and protected from prolonged exposure to light. Do not freeze.
