General description

GST-tagged recombinant protein corresponding to human PELP1.

Application

Immunocytochemistry Analysis: 5 µg/mL from a representative lot detected PELP1 in HeLa and A431 cells.

Quality

Evaluated by Western Blotting in HeLa cell lysate.

Western Blotting Analysis: 0.5 µg/mL of this antibody detected PELP1 in 10 µg of HeLa cell lysate.

Physical properties

~160 kDa observed. PELP1/MNAR has a predicted molecular weight of 120 kDa and an isoelectric point of 4.30, but because of the overall negative charge and excessive amount of prolines, the protein migrates on SDS-PAGE as a 160-kDa protein (Rajhans, R., and Vadlamudi, R.K. (2006). Clin. Exp. Metastasis. 23(1):1-7).

Physical form

Purified mouse monoclonal IgG2aκ antibody in buffer containing 0.1 M Tris-Glycine (pH 7.4), 150 mM NaCl with 0.05% sodium azide.

Storage and Stability

Stable for 1 year at 2-8°C from date of receipt.
