Millicell® Microwell Plates
Synonym(s):
3D Culture plates, microplates, microwell plates, multiwell plates
Quality Level
General description
Millicell Microwell Plates are a read-to-use platform for high-throughput and reproduciblity of organoid cultures. Based on an array of ultra-dense U-bottom shaped microwells (uW) in hydrogel, single organoids are robustly generated in each microcvity and grown in suspension-like culture without a solid extracellular matrix. With mulitple configurations available, there is a microwell size that will fit your organoid model.
Application
Features and Benefits
- O-ring with meniscus breaking features: For homogeneous seeding
- Independent port: For medium change without disturbing the organoids
- Multiple microwell sizes: Accommodate any organoid type
- Biocompatible and cell repellent: For efficient aggregation of stem cells
- Water-based: Allowing diffraction-less imaging
- Tunable chemistry: For customization according to organoid needs
- No solid matrix needed
