General description
Purified rabbit polyclonal antibody. Recognizes the ~60 kDa netrin-1 protein.
Recognizes the ~70 kDa netrin-1 protein in embryonic mouse brain tissue.
Immunogen
Mouse
a synthetic peptide (LGNAEDSPDQSG) corresponding to amino acids 557-568 of mouse netrin-1, conjugated to KLH
Other Notes
Immunoblotting was performed using brain tissue from various developmental stages. Netrin-1 protein is enriched in embryonic neural tissue. Antibody should be titrated for optimal results in individual systems. For immunohistochemistry applications, Anti-Netrin-1 (Ab-2) Rabbit pAb is also available (Cat. No. PC364-100 µg).

Netrin-1 was recently identified as an early diagnostic biomarker of acute kidney injury. However, its usefulness for early diagnosis of chronic kidney disease (CKD) is unknown. The current study evaluated whether these proteins are increased in urine from experimental animals

Endogenous mechanisms exist to limit inflammation. One such molecule is netrin. This study examined the impact of ischemia-reperfusion (I/R) on netrin expression and the role of netrin in preventing renal inflammation and injury. All three isoforms of netrin (1, 3

Acute kidney injury is an important complication in hospitalized patients often diagnosed late and associated with high mortality and morbidity. Although biomarkers for nephrotoxicity are available, they often lack sensitivity and specificity for detecting tubular injury. Netrin-1 is a laminin-like
