General description

Purified rabbit IgG.
Source: Normal rabbit serum collected from healthy normal rabbits.

Physical form

Format: Purified
Frozen nonsterile liquid in a 0.01 M Phosphate buffered saline, pH 7.1. Filtered through a 0.45 micron membrane filter.
IgG is purified by cohn fractionation followed by secondary purification with sodium caprylate.

Preparation Note

Maintain at -20°C in undiluted aliquots for up to 12 months. Avoid multiple freeze-thaw cycles.

Analysis Note

Purity determined by gel electrophoresis to be greater than 95%.
