General description

The Durapore membrane provides high flow rates and throughput, low extractables and broad chemical compatibility. HydrophilicDurapore membranes bind far less protein than nylon, nitrocellulose or PTFE membranes. The 5.0 μm pore size hydrophilic membrane is designed
and manufactured for the removal of particles and
organisms larger than 5.0 μm. The membrane is cast
on a non-woven polyester substrate. The membrane
may be sterilized by autoclaving up to 126°C, 20 psig,
for 45 minutes. Integrity of the membrane can be
determined by the bubble point test.
