CPCSelective Supplement is a sterile powder designed for microbiologicalapplications. It is specifically formulated for the selective isolation andenumeration of Vibrio species from food samples.

Application

CPC Selective Supplement is used in food and beverage microbiology for the cultivation and identification of Vibrio spp. It is particularly suitable for ensuring accurate detection and isolation of these bacteria in food safety testing.

Preparation Note

  • The supplement is added to CPC Agar (Base) for enhanced selectivity and differentiation of Vibrio spp.
  • Preparation involves dissolving the medium and supplement under sterile conditions.
