General description

Famphur is an organophosphate insecticide used primarily as a veterinary drug for the control of warbles in cattle.

Application

Famphur may be used as an analytical reference standard for the determination of the analyte in animal muscles and rice samples using liquid chromatography coupled with electrospray ionization tandem mass spectrometry (LC/MS/MS), and QuEChERS extraction and gas chromatography-tandem mass Spectrometry, respectively.
