General description

Beauvericin is a mycotoxin mainly produced by several fungi belonging to Fusarium genus, generally occurring in agricultural commodities.

Application

Beauvericin may be used as analytical reference standard for the quantification of the analyte in cultures of Fusarium subglutinans, naturally contaminated maize, and biological samples using various chromatographic techniques.
