Application
Pt-Co/Hazen/APHA (ASTM colour 500) colour reference standard is used with coloured solutions that show light absorption characteristics, matching those of the platinum-cobalt scale.
It may be used as a colour standard for visual analysis of colour following the ASTM D 1209 test method.
