General description

Oxasulfuron is a sulfonylurea herbicide, applied on soybean for the post-emergence control of broad-leaf weeds and grasses. Its mode of action involves the inhibition of acetolactate synthase in plants.

Application

Oxasulfuron has been used as an analytical standard to investigate its photochemical degradation in aqueous environment using non-aqueous capillary electrophoresis tandem electrospray mass spectrometry. It may also be used as an analytical reference standard for the quantification of the analyte in environmental samples using high-performance liquid chromatography with diode array detection.
Refer to the product′s Certificate of Analysis for more information on a suitable instrument technique. Contact Technical Service for further support.
