Selective enrichment broth used for detecting Salmonella in food according to GB4789.4-2016
Preparation Note
Suspend 93.6 grams in 1050ml distilled water. Heat with repeated stirring to boiling. Autoclave at 121℃ for 15 minutes. Cool to below 30°C, add 20ml of 20% iodine/potassium iodide solution (20g iodine + 25g potassium iodide in 100ml of distilled water) and 2ml of 0.5 % solution of brilliant green.
