BDE-47 belongs to the class of polybrominated diphenyl ethers (PBDEs), commonly used as fire retardants in consumer products.
Application
BDE-47 may be used as a test material to study its effect on genes involved in thyroid hormone homeostasis of adult female mice via changes in hepatic uridinediphosphate glucuronosyltransferases (UGTs) and transporters.
