General description
2,3-Dichlorophenoxyacetic acid (2,3-D) is a growth inactive auxin analog of 2,4-dichlorophenoxyacetic acid (2,4-D).
Application
2,3-Dichlorophenoxyacetic acid may be used as an internal standard in the following:
- Analysis of 2,4-dichlorophenoxyacetic acid and 2-methyl-4-chlorophenoxyacetic acid in human urine samples using high-performance liquid chromatography coupled to diode array detector (HPLC-DAD) and gas chromatography with electron capture detection (GC-ECD).
- Determination of acidic pharmaceuticals and endocrine disrupting compounds in untreated wastewaters and spring waters using gas chromatography coupled to mass spectrometry (GC-MS).
