Application
The Standard Reference Material (SRM) is primarily intended for the validation of analytical methods used to determine catechins, xanthines, and elements in extracts of green tea (Camellia sinensis) and similar matrices. It can also be utilized for quality assurance, particularly when assigning values to in-house control materials.
Features and Benefits
- Certified mass fraction values for catechins and xanthines are reported on a dry-mass basis and values are metrologically traceable to the SI unit of mass fraction (expressed as milligrams per gram).
- Reference mass fraction values for epigallocatechin methylgallate, gallic acid, theanine, and theophylline and elements in green tea are provided.
- Maintenance and expiration of SRM certificate, instructions for use and storage are provided on the NIST certificate.
