General description

Hydroflumethiazide is a thiazide diuretic drug, which acts like a potent antihypertensive agent. It is used in combination with spironolactone to minimize the excessive loss of potassium in hypokalemic patients who require diuretic therapy.

Application

Refer to the product′s Certificate of Analysis for more information on a suitable instrument technique. Contact Technical Service for further support.
Hydroflumethiazide may be used as a reference standard in the determination of hydroflumethiazide in urine samples using micellar liquid chromatography coupled with fluorimetry detector (MLC).
