Application
氯化镍（II）六水合物可用作以下过程的催化剂：
- 通过芳香醛、苄胺、β-酮酯和硝基烷烃的四组分缩合反应合成四取代的吡咯衍生物。
- 与1,2-乙二硫醇组合用于将四氢吡喃基（THP）和叔丁基二甲基甲硅烷基（TBS）醚脱保护成相应的羟基化合物。
- 通过Biginelli缩合从醛和β-酮酯合成3,4-二氢嘧啶酮。
