Application

Lithium nitrate is used:
  • As an electrolyte and redox mediator in the Li-O2 battery.
  • In the preparation of LiNO3/natural phosphate (NP) catalyst. This LiNO3/NP catalyst can be employed in the synthesis of chalcones.
  • As a regenerable SEI (solid–electrolyte interphase) stabilizing agent in the rechargeable Li/O2 batteries.

General description

Lithium nitrate (LiNO3) is an inorganic compound used as an electrolyte additive in rechargeable Li-S (lithium-sulfur) batteries. LiNO3 acts as an oxidizing agent.
We are committed to bringing you Greener Alternative Products, which belongs to one of the four categories of greener alternatives. This enabling product has been enhanced for energy efficiency. Click here for more information.
