General description

Barium acetate is the barium salt of acetic acid.

Application

Barium acetate was used in the preparation of 0.89[(Bi0.5Na0.5)TiO3]-0.11[BaTiO3] (BNT-BT0.11) precursor solution, required for the fabrication of BNT-BT0.11 thin films. It may be used in the preparation of aluminium triacetate. It may be used for the electrophoretic separation of acidic glycosaminoglycans.
