General description
Nitrite/Nitrate concentration is determined by a coupled enzyme reaction, which results in a fluorometric (λex = 535/λem = 587 nm) product.
Application
The assay is designed for the use of clear samples that do not contain any fluorescent materials, NADPH-consuming enzymes, or other quenching substances. Cell culture media must be clear and free of phenol red. Any cell culture medium containing NO3- as a component is not suitable.
Other Notes
The kit contains nitrite solution, nitrate solution, phosphate buffer, nitrate reductase, FAD, NADPH, diaminonaphthalene, and NaOH.
